PTZ dome cameras can be divided into two types: high-speed dome camera and PTZ camera according to their different mechanical configurations. Both types are collectively referred to as PTZ dome cameras.
The high-speed ball adopts shaft drive and has a solid structure and can achieve 360-degree continuous rotation, but the cost is high. The PTZ camera adopts gear transmission. Because there is a limit, 360 degree rotation cannot be achieved, but the cost is low. Under normal circumstances, there are two main control modes for HD PTZ cameras: rocker drag control and center point control. When using the joystick to PTZ camera control, it is difficult to achieve accurate positioning and difficult control. However, when using the "central point control" mode, it can be controlled freely.
In the “central point control” mode, the mouse is displayed as a “+” icon on the image. On the monitoring image, where the mouse clicks, the camera will use this point as the center, and it will be automatically rotated to precisely locate the point. When you want to zoom in on a target, you can press the left button while dragging the mouse to frame the target, and you can achieve automatic horizontal and vertical positioning and enlargement of the target.
The "central point control" method is only suitable for mouse control and is not suitable for joystick control.
